Our Background Story

About a decade ago, Norfolk County introduced pickleball with limited indoor court time, attracting a small but enthusiastic group of players. As word spread, participation grew, and more residents took up the sport, drawn by its accessibility and fast-paced play. What began as a casual pastime quickly became a thriving community, with increasing demand for court time and organized play.

To support this growth, the Simcoe Pickleball Club emerged, stepping up to coordinate leagues, establish fair play guidelines, and advocate for better facilities. Their efforts have created a structured, welcoming environment where both newcomers and seasoned players can enjoy the game while fostering a strong sense of community.
